High Touch Moving Systems assisted us with our move on Saturday October 31, 2009. Although I had never heard of High Touch Moving before, it came well recommended to us by our friend who has used this company in the past.

Before signing a contract I spoke with a sales representative (Lisa) to get a price estimate and information regarding the services provided by your company. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. She was the ultimate professional. I provided her with a tentative list of the major items we needed to move from one apartment to another. Based on my description she provided me with a clear estimate which itemized everything we had talked about. We talked briefly about obtaining a certificate of insurance and she even reached out to our two buildings to make sure that we had the appropriate liability coverage - as it turns out one building required a much higher liability limit and she helped to discount the cost of the added COI.

On the day of the move the movers arrived on time and were extremely efficient. They were all uniformed, polite, and introduced themselves to us. I felt confident that they had had much experience moving similar types of items. Our larger items (couches, tv, tv stand, tables) were handled with great care and they were protected well by blankets and tape. We had several loose items - bags full of clothing, hangers, etc and they actually brought tall boxes and put our loose items in there so that they would be protected and not lost. I thought that was a nice touch. I was even surprised by the initiative taken by one mover to disassemble one of our ikea bed frames. Not only was it done quickly, but he even reassembled it in our new apartment - perfectly. I was very impressed.

Everything was done to our satisfaction and exceeded our expectations for a moving experience. We had to do very little and appreciated the efficiency of the team of movers helping us. We arrived after the moving truck to our new apartment and they had already prepped items to be loaded into the elevator. They were done in approximately 3-3.5 hrs, as estimated by Lisa and we were not harassed about gratuities. In fact, our total bill ended up being $10 cheaper than was estimated. We tipped each mover individually.

We recommended High Touch to our other friend who moved the same weekend. She also said your company did a fantastic job. Many thanks! I would have no qualms recommending other friends to use your services and if I were to move again, would certainly hire High Touch.
